For over 200 years, The Sarah Ralston Foundation has maintained a steadfast commitment to serving Older Philadelphians.  The organization was founded in 1817 as Philadelphia’s first home for widowed women. As community needs changed, Ralston shifted from residential care to supportive services for older adults. In 2023, that commitment took a new form with the launch of the Sarah Ralston Foundation.
