2023 General Operating Support Grant Recipients

Twice a year, The Sarah Ralston Foundation awards grant funding to qualified nonprofits who serve vulnerable, underserved older adults in Philadelphia. The first yearly grant for General Operating Support is awarded each spring. The Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the General Operating Support Grants for 2023. A total of $750,000 will be distributed to twenty-eight nonprofits to help fund their work supporting older Philadelphians.

The pandemic has taken, and continues to take, a tremendous toll on people living with dementia and on their care partners. It has challenged the capacity of small non-profits like ours to serve. This grant will ensure that in ARTZ Philadelphia's 11th year, we will be able to continue providing in-person and online programs that enhance the quality of life of people affected by dementia in our region and are of, by, and for those we serve.

The operating grant is very much appreciated as sometimes advocating on behalf of a population mostly invisible and hidden from society can be daunting as the task is mammoth and resources scarce in returning them back to their families and communities.
