For many older adults in Philadelphia that is their everyday reality—social isolation and loneliness. For 40+ years Connected has built and sustained programs for older adults to combat social isolation and loneliness. As the former Surgeon General, Dr V Murthy announced, social isolation is as detrimental to wellbeing as smoking 15 cigarettes/day!
